HandMade Theatre: How Time Flies
How Time Flies, is a brand new show by HandMade Theatre, inspired by the wonderful and intriguing world of archaeology. Featuring an eccentric team of archaeologists and set in an exotic field tent.
This is a contemporary devised show for a family audience featuring puppets, music, stories and facts. The narrative is a series of vignettes which jump us through aspects of ancient history including the Vikings, Romans and Ancient Egyptians. The discovery of artefacts and the various stories they might hold are a key aspect of the productions development.
The piece is highly interactive and combines music, physical theatre, story telling and puppetry to build a sensory experience for the audience.
The set design was created in collaboration with master craftsman Ben Thomas from START in Salford.
